Davide Lufrano Chaves
Davide graduated in classical guitar at the Conservatory in Florence. Of
Latin American Costa Rican origins, he studied flamenco with Oscar Herrero
and jazz, including modern compositions and arrangments, at Berklee Music
School.
Enrolled at the SIAE (Italian Society of Authors and Publishers) and ENPALS
(National Welfare and Assistance for workers in the entertainment), in 2005 he
ranked fourth in the Italian National Classical Guitar Competition 'Daniele Ridolfi'.
Currently working as a performer, teacher and composer in London, he forms
part of Alejandro Toledo and the Magic Tombolinos (nu power ethno music)
winners of Channel 4 'Evo Music Rooms'; De Fuego guitar duo with Edina Balczo
(latin flamenco rumba) as well as collaborating with Nikki Felle, Bojana Fabel,
Kornelia Bieniek & Cristal Cream, Waliyah amongst others.
